HGV Class1/LGV CE Tanker Driver
PDRS have positions available for HGV Class1/LGV CE Tanker Drivers to undertake delivery of liquid products from Immingham, Lincoln or Dagenham to farms around the UK, whilst maintaining stringent health and safety procedures.
Duration:
Ongoing agency seasonal contract
The role:
- Delivery of bulk liquid products via the use of a small rear mounted petrol donkey engine
- The trailer is a single pot barrel with twin hand rails and a ladder at the rear to gain access to the top of the tank as required
- Maintaining very high industry standards of safety, health and security.
- Maintaining strong legal compliance for road transport legislation.
- Be prepared to work quite long legal hours plus nights out.
- Be able to work in an unsupervised environment.
- Have a responsible attitude.
Required skills and experiences:
- You will have a minimum 2 years HGV 1 licence
- You will have no greater than 2 x 3 point endorsements on your HGV / LGV licence
- You will have excellent Health and Safety Knowledge
- You will have Excellent customer service skills
- You must have previous experience with Tankers
- You will be required to attend a small class room induction to gain your card to load out of the terminal in Immingham plus a practical familiarisation of the tank and discharge procedure.
Please note that we are NOT able to accept candidates with DD, DR, IN,TT or CU80 endorsements
The working week:
- Monday to Friday
- Nights out
- Overtime shifts available if volumes require
Salary:
LTD/Umbrella
- Basic day Rate £13.10 per hour
- Basic night Rate £14.60 per hour
- Saturdays £22.70
- Sundays £23.70 per hour
PAYE
- Basic day Rate £11.05 per hour
- Basic Night Rate £12.24 per hour
- Saturdays 18.39 per hour
- Sundays £19.32 per hour
